The B-Train,
An American Loser
They called me a loser long before I believed it. High school dropout. Teenage dad. A husband who couldn’t keep it together. The guy who’d blow a hundred grand on a bad bet, then walk back through the door like nothing happened.
I lived multiple lives. One where I was trying to hold my family together. Another where I was chasing chaos, nights that ended in strip clubs, fake IDs, cops, dealers, and shootings. I thought I was functioning. I thought I could out-run it. But realistically, I was drowning.
This book is every ugly detail. Every betrayal. Every time I swore I’d stop and didn’t. It’s not pretty, and it’s not here to inspire you. It’s here to show you the wreckage, because that’s the only way the comeback makes sense.
I’m living proof that you are not your worst mistakes. That no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can get back up. Never surrender.
The B-Train, An American Loser is my story, but if you’ve ever felt like your past disqualified you from a future, it might be yours too.

All stories have to start somewhere… only, mine nearly ended before it even began.

Bo Joseph
Bo Joseph is a high school dropout and convicted felon who spent his teens and twenties doing his best to ruin his life. By 30, he was divorced, bankrupt, and arrested more times than he can count. Everything else worth knowing is in the pages you’re about to read.
But here’s what those pages prove: the past doesn’t get the final word. Bo’s story isn’t about how far he fell, it’s about how many times he got back up.
For a decade, he kept this book locked on his laptop, too raw to release and too heavy to forget. Now he’s putting it all on the table, the wreckage, the lies, the chaos, and the fight to crawl out of it.
Today, Bo is a father, a Chief Operating Officer at a $200M Food Franchise and now an author. He is the voice behind The B-Train, An American Loser, a personal memoir. He’s not here to preach, but to stand as proof that no matter how bad it gets, you can rebuild.
Never give up. Never surrender. You are not your mistakes.
